By-Pass Loading Arms By-pass loading arms by OPW are a low-cost alternative to arms constructed of Hastelloy, Alloy 20, and other specialty metals for loading hydrochloric acid and other highly corrosive chemicals. This unique design offers all of the advantages of a conventional spring balanced loader in terms of ease of operation and handling. However, no liquid passes through the steel base swivel, which in conjunction with the torsion spring, serves as a support and carrying mechanism only. The flow passage consists of lined pipe, plastic pipe, or even sanitary pipe, and a hose that is suspended from the support arm. Available in 2", 3", and 4" sizes in a variety of configurations and materials of construction for a wide range of applications. |
