Whether it's a Ball Tube Mill, Impact Mill, Vertical Roller Mill, or a Ring Race/Ball Race Mill
chances are your station's Coal Pulverizing Equipment is at a status where improved equipment reliability is badly needed. Most Coal Mill designs do not incorporate Lube Filtration on the Coal Mill Lube Oil Reservoir. Those that do, use a coarse 40 micron cleanable mesh or a 200 micron cleanable stacked disc filter design. Pulverized coal particle sizes are in the 4 to 30 micron size range. This filtration technology is not capable of maintaining the recommended reservoir cleanliness.

MSE-2000-20, Mid-States Engineering will provide monthly ISO Approved - Laser Particle Count Testing, for
(1) year, at No Charge! During normal operating conditions in the plant, if our Equipment and Filter Performance Guarantee is not met, based on ISO approved sampling results, Mid-States Engineering agrees to deliver, at our cost, necessary services and materials until the Performance Guarantee is met.
Mid-States Engineering recommends that you start off with the HY-PRO 25 micron Absolute Filters in an effort to clean up the larger particulate without overloading a tighter element prematurely. When the 25 micron filter has either reached its dirt holding capacity, or has been in service for 2 months, we then recommend installing the HY-PRO 12 micron Absolute Filter in an effort to further improve the ISO Particulate Cleanliness Levels of your station's Coal Mill Lube Oil. The HY-PRO filter elements are designed for High Dirt Holding Capacity, which will maximize the time between filter change-outs. The HY-PRO Filter Elements are also tested and manufactured under Dynamic Filtration Efficiency Testing (DFE) Methods. Mid-States Engineering is a Solution Provider, so let us help you design the Lube Skid that fits your Station's needs and special requirements.
