Top Loading Vapor Recovery Arms Many chemicals and petroleum products have traditionally been top loaded through open domes on tank trucks and rail cars. However, with growing emphasis on worker safety, environmental concerns, and recent major revisions to the Clean Air Act, an increasing number of bulk loading operations now need to be equipped for vapor recovery. OPW vapor recovery assemblies are available in 2", 3", 4", and 6" sizes in steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys. They can be steam jacketed or traced, equipped with an automatic shut-off system, or outfitted with whatever additional equipment might be needed for your particular application. Spring balanced designs as well as remote controlled pneumatically and hydraulically actuated "robotic" arms are available. |
